The promise, stated plainly

Mindhyv takes 0% commission on what sellers earn. A seller keeps 100% of what they charge — the only deduction is the standard payment-processing fee, which goes to the card processor and not to us, spelled out in payments and payouts.

The obvious question follows: then how does Mindhyv make money? A marketplace that dodges that question is usually planning to introduce a commission later. So here’s the real answer.

What we’re doing today

Right now, we’re building the network. The marketplace is young, and the honest truth is that our current job is to bring buyers and sellers together and earn enough trust that they stay. We are not monetizing seller earnings, and we are not quietly running a commission under another name.

We’d rather tell you we’re in the build-the-network phase than invent a revenue story that sounds more finished than it is.

How we intend to make money

Over time, revenue comes from optional paid features — things a seller can choose to buy because they’re worth it, not tolls on money they’ve already earned:

  • Promotion — optional paid visibility for sellers who want more reach than the free listing gives.
  • Premium tools — advanced business features beyond the free storefront, booking, and profile every seller gets.

The common thread: every one of these is optional, and none of them is a percentage of a completed job. A seller who never spends a cent beyond processing fees can run their whole business on Mindhyv.

Why this is a constraint, not a phase

“Never a cut of seller earnings” is a founding constraint, not a promotional rate. It shapes what we’re allowed to build: if a feature only works by taking a slice of what a seller made, we don’t build it. That’s the point of writing it down here, where you can hold us to it.

If that ever changed, it would change on this page first, in the open — the way everything does under our corrections policy. It’s not changing.

What it’s worth to a seller

The math is simple and it compounds. Skip a 20% commission and a $1,000 job is $1,000, not $800 — run that across a year of work and the difference funds real things. Our commission savings calculator shows the number for your own volume, and referral earnings explained covers the one way sellers can actually earn more on the platform rather than less.
