What we expect from everyone

Mindhyv works when both sides act in good faith. That means a few concrete things, for buyers and sellers alike:

  • Be who you say you are. No fake identities, borrowed portfolios, or misrepresented credentials. Sellers can prove it through verification.
  • Keep agreements in writing, on the platform. Scope, price, and timeline agreed in Mindhyv messages are what protection and disputes rest on.
  • Communicate like a professional. Disagreement is fine. Harassment, threats, and slurs are not.
  • Keep payment on the platform. Taking a job off-platform to dodge fees strips both sides of protection and breaks the trust the marketplace runs on.

Expectations by role

Sellers: deliver what you agreed, or say early and honestly when you can’t. Don’t inflate a portfolio with work that isn’t yours. Don’t chase or pressure buyers for reviews — earn them, the way reviews that convert describes.

Buyers: define the work before you expect it delivered, pay for work performed, and don’t use a review as leverage for a refund you’re not owed. It’s fair to say no or walk away; it’s not fair to threaten a seller’s rating to renegotiate a done deal.

What gets removed

Content or behavior comes down when it crosses a clear line:

  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or fake identities.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or doxxing.
  • Off-platform payment solicitation to evade fees or protection.
  • Spam, and manipulated or paid reviews — covered in detail on our review integrity page.
  • Illegal work, or work outside a seller’s honest scope of practice.

The enforcement ladder

We match the response to the conduct, not the mood of the day:

  1. Warning. A first, non-severe breach gets a clear notice of what to fix.
  2. Restriction. Repeat or more serious issues limit an account — pausing listings, holding payouts pending review, or capping new orders.
  3. Suspension. A temporary removal while we investigate a significant breach.
  4. Permanent ban. Fraud, threats, and coordinated manipulation skip the ladder and end the account.

People make these calls, not an algorithm alone, and we explain the decision. If we get one wrong, our corrections policy applies to enforcement too. The point of every rule here is the same: keep Mindhyv a place where a real professional and a real buyer can trust each other enough to do business.

For sellers navigating the harder moments, setting boundaries with clients and knowing when to say no to a client keep good conduct from becoming a doormat.
